Settings[]

The history of Vermal is not known, it is a backwater world full of rednecks and hillbillies. The terrain of Vermal appears to be swampy and grassy though not much of it shown as the Party Area was filled with junk and refuse from salvaged space ships.

Vermal also appears to be relatively Earth-like, in that it has green and blue (grass and water) on the planet, possibly indicating that it may have forests and oceans in addition to swamps.

The planet's surface is depicted from orbit as being uneven and lumpy, which indicates that it is relatively small and its mass is insufficient to make itself completely spherical.

The inhabitants of Vermal are all either rednecks or hillbillies, with the one and only exception being Norb. Below is a list of inhabitants of Vermal.

Cousin Daddy seems to be a figure of authority on Vermal, and has commanded the termination of the Gollean clan. It is implied that he was a collaborator with the Divine Order. Pa and the other inhabitants seem to have relatively detailed knowledge of the Divine Order, although it is not said whether or not Vermal was a member of the League of 20,000 Planets.

Vermal appears to be very laid back and the inhabiting rednecks do as they please whenever they feel like, and party all of the time (Gloodel was urinating on the bonfire when Jr. Gollean and Xev arrived). Anyone who is considered a criminal or "stupid" (as in Jr. Gollean's case) is usually fed to a pit filled with Mine Critters.

Vermal was ultimately destroyed by Stan's command after being coerced into blowing it up by an angry Pa Gollean.

Trivia[]
