Summary[]
Stanley is tempted by a pleasure ship, however when he arrives he is arrested in a sting operation for crimes involving the death of billions of people. As the trial progresses Kai becomes concerned about the actions of the prosecutor and agrees to defend Stanley in a last ditch attempt to save him from the death sentence.
Plot[]
Having not learned the lesson from visiting the previous Loveliner, Stan flies in search of pleasure to another space brothel, which he visited many years ago. However, there he is ambushed by the Society of Reform Planets, which has been looking for him for a long time and calls him an "arch-traitor" and is going to put him on trial. He is blamed for the destruction of 94 worlds hostile to His Divine Shadow and the murder of 685,304,000,000 people. The fact is that Stan had secret information that could give out resistance, but his ship broke down in space, and calling for reinforcements, Stan got on the collaborators of the Shadow regime, who soon took him away and obtained the information hidden in his tooth. Stan is charged with the fact that he did not commit suicide, but quietly waited for the enemy to save him.
Xev believes that Stan needs to be rescued as he cannot be acquitted at trial. However, Kai, being an impartial dead man, believes that there is no reason to interfere with a fair trial. At the beginning the trial seems to be fair, and the arguments of the parties are heard, Stan and Kai talk about how they destroyed the Divine Shadow and thus his guilt was atoned for. This fact remains counted, but Stan is still sentenced to death – quick and painless instead of painful. However, Chief Prosecutor Jihana intends to secretly violate the verdict and execute Stanley in the most painful way. Kai saves him.
After Lexx flies away, this brothel ship is devoured by Mantrid.
